Bedliner for roof?

I've been using my rack a lot lately, and some items with legs tend to hit the top of my truck.

I was thinking about putting some roll-on bedliner on just the top.

Any recommendations for a liner? Am I able to roll some on without sanding the top?

Are you worried about looks or rust from the scratches? Since you probably never look at the roof just touch up the scratches as they happen. Save the money and hassle of removing all the plastic, sanding, and spraying the liner on and install some expanded metal on your rack to stop larger things from dropping through.

Ya! Lol you can get raptor liner and a whole lot more products for home use with spray on capability.
Herculiner is a truly viable option and one I've personally used on several projects.

something to consider is that bed liner is flammable. There was an H1 in a suburban neighborhood that caught fire. Neighbor shot off fireworks, embers or part of the firework landed on the lined roof, caught fire, . burning material fell inside of truck after roof burned/melted through, interior caught on fire. Rare circumstance but something to consider.
