As you may know I have been battling some health issues and this weekend I have felt extremely crappy, so I decided to make a build thread to help keep me motivated. Anyways, don’t expect things to happen over night because I have been dealing with this **** for almost a year now. I have been collecting parts though, so they will be here and ready to install when I start to feel a little better. Comments and suggestions are welcome and encouraged.

Here is a pictures of the 3 when I purchased it last November. 2008 HUMMMER H3 base model with a 3.7L and AT............Oh yea and of coarse Solar Flare Metallic :wink:

OEM Fender Flares & Export Mud Flaps

Have you already installed the flares? If not, check all four before you start drilling. It was a known fact that they would send one of the front flares 2x of the same side. I had to run around for a couple of weeks with one flare missing till they sent it right. Worst parts is I had painted them and the missing one didn't match exactly. They may have corrected that issue, but just in case lay them out on the floor next to you H3 and double check before starting.

I had a similar issues but mine was with the left rear section of the rear flare. It was boxed wrong and I ended up with two rights but the dealer ordered another. I picked it up Saturday while picking up some parts for Sennin.

On a side note, when I was picking up the pigtails for Sennin (who is located in South Africa), I glanced at the flare box and it said "Made In South Africa". :giggle:

08, that's one great big pile of stuff! Congrats. That should keep you motivated for a while. Too bad I don't live nearby - I'd be over at you house helping you get that stuff installed on your rig. Maybe we can organize an 08SolarFlare install/wrenching party! Hope you continue to feel better!

Well that was the original plan for tires but then 4 Wheel Parts messed up my order (got 1 bogger and 3 or 4 weeks latter I got 4 thornbirds :whaa. I still have the single Bogger as, they wouldn't take the one back that was mounted. Never know, I might just go back to that plan and pick up four more somewhere else.
