08 H3 Alpha front wheel bearing prob?

Front driver side wheel making a rubbing/grinding noise at both slow and fast speeds. Going slow I will hear an intermittent "lub...lub...lub" and when going faster it becomes "lub lub lub lub". Took the wheel off this morning to rule out the brake and anything loose. Everything seems in order.

I've read posts diagnosing CV or ball joint, bushings, wheel bearings, etc. Trying to narrow down the issue to something definitive. If it is indeed the wheel bearings, is it recommended that you change both hubs at the same time?

How many miles? Hubs should last longer than the CV so I would look at the CV first and it is easier to fix. Hubs are not bad either just more bolts. CVs are a little cheaper too.

about 64k miles; a bad CV can make that kind of noise??

wife and I just drove around the neighborhood, now the sound seemed to come from the middle, and making left turns it seemed to really make a grinding noise on the driver's side

thinking I'm just going to have the dealership take a look to narrow down the cause...

Yeah mine is been doing the same, but the boot close to the wheel is been leaking grease for a while 1yr or so, I'm guessing it finally ran out of grease, anyways I have a new boot and grease I'm going to inspect it tomorrow and assess if it is still fixable if not I have a new cv ready to drop in.

I can say, when my front driver hub went out. There was alittle drag but, it effected my ABS and my front brakes would grab, alittle scarey sometimes. The bad grease got on my sensor and would confuse the ABS. We did clean it but it didn't last. I think there should be blue grease not dirty...

front diff is the culprit, I'll know more once the specialist takes a look at it this afternoon...

EDIT- dealer rep was wrong, specialist indeed confirmed it was the front wheel bearing
