Hey everyone, my name is Matt and live in Fredericksburg, VA. I had the good fortune of meeting Supersapper-rpm and AbsntMnded yesterday at a charity trail ride event in the George Washington Nat'l Forest. It was my first time out with other Hummers and couldn't have asked for a better day of wheeling :)

I have had my '08 H3 for just over a year now and love it! I'm in the ever evolving process of building it into a expo rig. So far I've added a Rola roof rack, 35" KM2s, and tweaked the torsion bars to level it out. Look forward to learning all I can about my H3 and its off-road capabilities. Hope to see you out on the trails.

Welcome to H4O Matt! Glad to see you here! Had a great time yesterday with you and your son, very cool young man BTW! If you ever have any questions about your rig feel free to ask, these guys are the best and brightest of the HUMMER community, just check out their recent Moab run:whaa:. Hope to see you on the trails again soon.

Thanks Rich, Jake couldn't stop talking (until he feel asleep) about how "sweet" it was wheeling with you guys and I couldn't agree more. I had more fun on the way out just exploring some of those side trials...guess that just means we'll have to set up another run out there for some deeper recon and possible bushwacking?

I was ready to drive back yesterday to explore the trail some more, lol.... so absolutely Matt, anytime just name it. I've been mapping out possible routes and researching the sat. photos on google ever since I got home. Oh-yeah, tell Jake I'll bring the Skittles if he brings the R/C truck. :)

Welcome to the forum from Michigan. Always glad to have another Hummer owner who loves his rig and wants to utilize it for what it is made for. Nice that you are involving your son in the offroad world.

Thanks, over the years I have had a couple of Tacoma's, an Explorer, and a Land Rover SII. Each had been modded in one way or another and spent as much time off-road as they did on it. This is great seeing so many like minded folks in one place...I know I'm going to learn so much and that will just take it to the next level

Welcome! I have feeling from what you typed that your going to like it here.
Absolutely, even more so now that the VA chapter is up and growing. Its one thing to go wheeling with a group of other 4x4s but so much better when you're wheeling with a great group of friends who just happen to have Hummers!
