A/C Hose Cross Reference Help!

As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I have a small hole in the A/C hose. See picture below. I've called all over the past few days, and no one can cross reference this hose to something I can buy. They ask for a VIN number and that says it's a H1 Hummer. No one can cross that. I told them it was a GM 6.5 TD engine and they won't even talk about it.
Any ideas on where I can get one? AMG #6007398 Crossed to a part I can buy at my local auto parts store?

Thanks all.
I hear from a very reliable source that these hoses are made for the Hummer and will not cross reference to a parts store.
Either bring the hose to a A/C shop to rebuild it or pay the price for a new hose.

I had custom parker hoses made at the A/C shop for around $100 or so, included discharge and recharge, also put a new dryer in.

Probably gonna have to have an AC shop build them for you. If you were local to me I could do it for you. Is the leak in the hose or the aluminum tube?

Thanks much. The leak is in the small hole on the metal connector that you can see in the picture. It's weird to see. The small hole has a small slow leak and bubbles. It takes about a week or two before its out of freon. Yesterday I took a BB and placed it in the hole. The BB is bigger than the hole so it seals over the hole real well. Then took a hose clap to hold it all in place. It looks like it stopped the leak! It's only a temporary quick fix until I get it repaired.

I thought I'd show a quick picture of what I did.
I figure I can sell these repair kits for a cool $100 a pop! :giggle:

The leak is between the hose and the fitting, and is simply leaking out of the hole in the crimp shell. That happens sometimes when the hose gets old and the rubber outer sheath takes a set. Time to rebuild the hose set.

I believe you're right about the time to change out the hoses. Do you know why the manufacturer makes that hole? Is it a testing thing or part of the process?
