For one person, 7 days I have a full roof rack, stuffed to the gills trunk, stuffed to gills 2nd row and a pretty full passenger seat lol

Have you got 7 slabs of Beer in there ???

Everyone always comments when I tell them I am going to Bathurst. The police inspect all vehicles on entry to Bathurst for how much Grog you are carrying........... The limit is a slab per person per day (24 Cans Heavy Beer or 30 Cans Light Beer per Day).

Lots get caught over the limit as well. The smart ones go in with 7 slabs for the week then drive into town the next day and bring in another 6 slabs for the days remaining.

Just crossed into Colorado on I-76. About 185 miles to I-70 and Denver. Lots of wind. Head wind in Nebraska had us down to 11 mpg. Probably going to stay in grand junction tonite .should be at outpost in morn at 0830.

Sitting in grand junction in the spring hill suites. Nice place. Not too expensive either. Still plan to be at the outpost in the morning by 8:15. What's the deal with lunch at the river tomorrow? I assume we bring our own. Are we going to cook or cold sandwiches, something airlifted in from hooters?

Most just bring sandwich stuff or stop at subway and get a sandwich.

Ran by the Outpost. Saw lots of old hands and met a few new people. Dinner at The Branding Iron and back to the hotel for a shower and bed. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Coyote burgers, with goat head salad:no:

The Maveriks on both ends of town have sandwiches, but the Chevron (located on the east side of 191, just past the burger king/Mcdonalds) has better sandwinches.
