We almost lost one guy on Hell's Gate a trip or two ago. He almost went end over end back down the gate. Wouldn't listen to anyone and didn't know how to drive his UTV.

That old guy? I remember him. After he was up, he said he needed a beer. LOL. It's a whole new ballgame in a UTV out there. some of the things you go up in teh HUMMER and donl;t think too much about it. try that in a UTV and it gives you pucker factor X100. lol. other stuff, like the Hottubs were fun! Moab rim was favorite in my Rhino. Hell's was a blast. so much more stuff see on the trail that most have not seen yet. with the last two years of UTV's market rising, there is a ton out there to build these. problem is, they are NOT cheap. you can build up a cheaper rig to pound on for the same price...but you get two completely different feelings in driving a modded UTV vs modded truck. ...something different anyhow. thought I'd share.

I bought a Rzr over the winter and want to take it to Moab sometime this summer. It really needs some skids and a better harness system first. It is a lot of fun and pretty darn quick. The traction in snow is amazing as is the smooth ride at speed over rough terrain. Any larger street legal rig would beat the crap out of you compared.

Hopefully picking up the hummer tomorrow. They are fixing up the exhaust leak and doing one last check on anything else that needs attention before I go. After that, I will try to finish out a few maintenance items on my own and then its time for moab! Hopefully I can stay out of trouble these next 2 weeks...No stitches or getting stuck in the mud!

Gotta ask this one, what were the stitches for? Taser experiment this time? Lol

I was building my rancho ucp and I had one pipe test fitted in under the car, I turn around my arm hits it the pipe falls and smacks me above the lip....nice deep wide gash so I went to the E.R. for stitches. They did a great job though, you can barely see the scar
