Who cares? If ten cents is a big deal to you then you bought the absolute wrong vehicle for your needs. Gas always goes up in spring and in summer.

Gas just went UP another 10cents again here in Florida=Total 50 cents more, in one months time!!!!!

Do they switch between summer and winter gas in the lower states?

"The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says conventional summer-blend gasoline contains 1.7 percent more energy than winter-blend gas, which is one reason why gas mileage is slightly better in the summer. However, the summer-blend is also more expensive to produce, and that cost is passed on to the motorist."

.50 per gallon? So from totally dry tank it's a difference is $5 per tank. I'd still be driving it

$11.50 actually. 23 x 0.50 = 11.5

Unless you refitted yours with a 10 gallon tank? :)

It's just the cost of driving these things though. But for my daily commute a $0.50 increase means it only costs me about $20 more a month in gas (11 miles each way x2/day x5 days/week x4 weeks divided by 12 mpg x $0.50). Pretty minimal if you ask me. If you're having to drive it a lot more than that every day where it would really make a huge difference in monthly costs then you chose the wrong kind of vehicle as your daily driver.

Heck, I'll pay the $0.30 to $0.40 more a gallon for the ethanol free stuff...
