Picked up an ‘09 Alpha in PA. Got quickly acquainted driving home, 2200 miles in two days. Looking forward to funner rides in the future.

He’s a lumberjack and he’s okay! He sleeps all night and he works all day! He puts on women’s clothing and hangs around in bars.

Finally hit the 150k mark and did a tire rotation, oil change, cleaned the air filter, experimented with an android tablet dash, and modified my hood vent to actually be functional:cheers:

This 8" tablet just happened to fit perfectly on the back side of the dash trim, so it's held in place with some temporary mounts that hold it tightly centered in the middle of the trim opening. Its a temporary mount until I can come up with something more substantial, but it sure is nice to use the Torque Pro App to get all the gauges I want through an OBDII bluetooth connector.

Is the tablet hooked up to the speakers?

Looks great!
Any stats on temp readings before and after the vent mod?

I haven't noticed much in operating temp change (running at about 194 degrees), but the big difference comes when I'm on my way down a steep grade after the temps have raised, they drop back down to normal faster than before.

The tablet is not hooked up directly no. I have a cheap sound stream head unit tucked into the dash back behind it always on bluetooth mode, which I use to play music, podcasts, directions, etc. off of my phone. This particular tablet was free from Verizon about 2 years ago and has no ram or storage, which in turn makes it slow as hell and too frustrating to use for navigation. I use it strictly for the clock and Torque Pro.
