New Black Rock 937 Steel Wheels

Found these pretty cool, as they are the only steel wheel that comes close to factory back spacing (with the exception of the H3T steelies of coarse). They are 17x8's with a 5.5" BS, positive offset, and 4.28 hub bore. Given the fact they factory wheels have a 5.84" back spacing and are 7.5" wide, they should only stick out ~3/4" over stock.

They do look close to the stock steelies. I tried to go with American Racing steel wheels, but the 16" wouldn't fit over the brake calipers. The 17" should fit better with 1/2" more clearance. Having 0.34" less back spacing might prevent 35" tires from at full lock.

The Google shopping price is ~$195.

Weighing in at 41 lbs, they are half a pound heavier than the Hutchinson's and ~$104 cheaper.

They look pretty similar to the steelies with the huge negative off set. I have always been a fan of the H3T steelies and I though they were pretty unique in the fact they have a back spacing very close to the factory (were most steel wheels have a 4.25-4.5”). Another cool thing is 17’s do have a few different tire choices over 16’s. Didn’t bother googling the price because I don’t have any use for them but $195 seems a bit high in comparison to there other steel wheels (around $100-125ea).
