H3 BW Transfer Case Whine in 4-LO

Noticed the whine this weekend while at GWNF, figured it was normal but wanted to get second opinions. 2006 H3 Adventure / Lux model. Whine is only in 4-LO prominently in 2nd gear and up. In the video the truck shifts into 2nd at around the 16 sec mark. Truck currently has 80k miles, transfer case fluid was changed at 50k with GM fluid. Thanks in advance!

Absolutely with ya, I just didn't remember it being that loud the last time I used 4-LO.

Yup, the 4:1 will sing you the song of it's people. It is when it goes "clank clank" that's bad ( ask me how i know [emoji25] ).

that's what the stereo is for. But I'd still keep changing that oil. Been getting more paranoid about transfer case life and it's so easy and cheap to change that oil.

Can't say...I've never done over 5 MPH in 4LL.

Never gone fast in a hummer in 4 low but a 2014 f150 screams at 45 mph in 4 low.

That sounds normal to me, specially when going fast usually gets louder which is why I've never driving the H3 in order than 1st gear while in 4-low lock 5 mph I would say is the fastest I go, only use it to climb over rocks or any other tough stuffs that 4-low unlock just won't cut it, which isn't much, I find 4-low lock to be a bit too torquey-over kill and the whine keeps me from being in it for too long or go too fast.
