You know the thought of doing that is as foreign of a concept to me as driving a HUMMER on the moon

Twin, I still have the chrome steps i can send you.
I cleaned everything with a non scratch pad and rubbing alcohol, and then applied six coats of Plasti-dip. I applied it first to the license plate carrier on spare and gas door about a month ago to see how it would last, and it has been great. I have taken it through drive through car washes and spray booths to see if I could damage it, and it held up.

So underneath it all it is still chrome. That makes me feel better, you're just smothering the damn thing......

let's see, I can see a couple of similarities
1) it's a GM product (both on the moon and on earth)
2) they're both orphans
