You going on a safari?
The snorkels look good I'll grant you that but for the average person they do little in the city. Of course if you are putting your H3 in the drink the ingestion of water would not be desirable. But again, long b4 you ingest h2o you are going to take on an insanely large amount of water that will damage the BCM and other integral parts in the cabin. Lets face it the H3 was not design to be a deep sea or PT boat replacement. Chevy/Hummer did not design the interior electronics with water fording hi on there priorities list. Profitability superseded that lol!
I personally do not run/own a snorkel and have not needed one for my H3, Jeep TJ or XJ. But then again I avoid deep mud and water like the plague. Snow on the other hand is very prevalent in the SE WI area... we had like close to a foot two weeks ago. The XJ handle the drifts and deep snow awesome as usual. Of course the H3 has new tires for this season and it was absolutely awesome on snow and ice. But the nearest true of roading is many hours away from the cities in SE WI. The great part with the snorkel from the research I've done is perhaps a slight bit cleaner air intake with the snorkel being at the roof line. Of course water is less likely to be ingested. Less face it though it is predominately put on a number of vehicles for looks more than actual usage. just my 2cents.
