Get a good code reader that can read BCM, it tell you exactly what device is throwing the code.

Why didn't you leave the tranny out completely until after the motor was in? Is there a reason it was in the way? I'll be doing this swap in a couple of months on my 06.

Sounds like the front diff bushing. A known part to fail but easy to fix. Follow the link Korby7 gave and you'll be good.

How much for the ECM/TCM mounting bracket? I have one that is cracked and JB welded together. I'll be in Amarillo in May and would have you ship it there or may drive down with some tools.

The best of the updates. Finally got the new motor home today, will work on install after the 14b.

A bunch of parts were delivered over the last few days. Everything is in to rebuild the 14b with Motobuilt truss and Lugnuts disc brake upgrade.

Also, if you can keep detailed records of your wiring I would greatly appreciate it. I will be swapping this summer and the wiring diagram I got from him didn't make 100% sense to me.

What about designing it to sit on the dash where the Daystar tray normally sits? It's kind of useless anyways with the small dividers in it.

I used all 4 quarts but it would have been fine with 3. I had it so I used it. It has held up very well and am very happy with it. I have had many trips where desert pin stripes were guaranteed and there is very little evidence now. My sons truck has a couple of spots where it delaminated...
