You should put in a York on board air setup since you have room now with the A/C gone!

I helped a guy do this (plus heater core and blend door actuator) in an F150 a while back. It ranks among the most PITA things I've had to do to a vehicle.

So far this has been the most annoying thing I've had to do to a vehicle, but in terms of difficulty it really wasn't that bad. The most difficult thing I've had to do was ripping apart the dual fuel-pump assembly on my Chaparral Sunesta Deck boat when the ethanol in CA gas made every seal disintegrate and clog the entire fuel system up... but thats a story for another day

Man that job sucks!!!! I had to replace my heater core this past winter. Just got done last week pulling vacuum and replacing refrigerant for my a/c. Don't do what I did and screw up the reassembly of the blower assembly. My ac / heater blows out of my dash no matter what direction I turn it to now. :shame: I'm not going to fool with it until the core goes bad again. What a PITA.

I see you didn't have to take the seat out or the center console. I had to. I have an 06'. I wonder if they changed the design in the newer models to make it easier to work on the dash?

I can totally see how the vents wouldn't line up after reassembling everything! And looking back, it would've made the job a lot easier had I removed the passenger seat and center console. It took a generous amount of brute force and curse words to get the AC unit out of its home with them in.

I wish you would have posted up a video of how you went about taking the entire dash apart. I have a lot of wiring to do behind one and don't have the foggiest of clues where to even begin.

About half way through the job the thought of recording it crossed my mind :emb: I was in a rush trying to get it all done that I didn't plan ahead of time for it. Removing the dash really isn't all that difficult, its just time consuming finding all the screws.

Does anyone know what the real world off-camber limits are for the H3?

The manual states 22 degrees (40%), and I am wondering how that has worked out on the trails with or without a lift or any other significant changes to CG.

I had a 2002 sunesta 233 that I repowered with a fresh water cooled 350 MAG Merc. Great boats.

Replaced the non-existent passenger side steering rack bushing with a polyurethane one.

I got a new radio and I finally got a back up camera.QUOTE]

So this may sound funny, but how do the buttons feel? I recently installed an Alpine head unit in my wife's car and the buttons feel like they are going to fall off at any moment.

I'd like to put in a new head unit, sorry of like what you have with that Kenwood, but the fear of a crappy build is part of what holds me back. Any thoughts so far on this?

The buttons are kinda loose feeling. But no issues. I guess you could go to Best Buy or some car audio place and look at them.

Camping at George Washington National Forest with Scott (USMC315). Good rainy drive up, a little more clear now.

Here is the finished product...

I am very happy with the result, but man it is nerve wracking drilling a 90mm hole in a perfectly good fender but it got easier with each hole drilled!

Low oil pressure warning came up on the I5. Its been coming every now and then the last 10 days but today the temps crossed 105 and it was there everytime I was idling. Rev it above 1k it would go but at strong left turns it would come on. If I start the truck and drive it at night (90*) it wont come on and same for short drives in the morning.

This happened end of last summer but it was once every other week, had the oil pressure sensor changed and an oil/filter change since the last time it came (been driven 4K) and didnt come a single time all winter...

Taking it to check using a mechanical gauge and see whatsup...

I have 105K on it

Please keep us updated!!! I have been dealing with this issue for some time. Dealer can't figure it out. I installed fans and it hasn't come on since but also installing a transformer to ensure the transmission is cool enough.

Cool, what about water pooling above spark plugs and stuff?

The vents are right over the the radiator/ fan but added installed rubber seals to guide the water away from the vents. I am working on a mechanism that will allow me to close the vents for rain/car washes.
