Transfer case info help

I have picked up a Borg Warner 4493 t case which is the 4;1 it came out of a early 2006 H3. Now the one in my 2007 H3 is the stranded T case. Will the 4;1 case bolt right up in place of my old one. And is there anything :whaa:that I would have to change. Or is it all the same?

You'll just want a new gasket for the job but everything will bolt right up. Was the 2006 case refurbished?

NO it was taken out of a wrecked 06 back in 06 low miles. It has been sitting in a crate ever since.

Actually the 4493 is the 2.6:1 low range. The 4494 is the 4:1.
They interchange without any issues.
